The colors of Andean syncretism
Despite the imposition of the Catholic religion, Andean cultures have managed to preserve their original cults hidden behind the image of a saint or a virgin around whom colorful dances represent the history of the colonized peoples. From Cusco, the mythical city with multiple hidden symbols, through the folk dances of Coya (national cultural heritage), a community of traditional weavers, llama breeders at the top of the sacred mountains: a journey to understand and take a precise look at Andean syncretism.
